Over the last few decades I have been through periods of shopping at Sydney's central, wholesale fruit & veg market. I feel like I've seen a huge variety of different fruit and veg, so yes I've seen them both and they are quite different

I’ve already been eating sweet potatoes this week. Yams or sweet potatoes...I like both of them.

DeleteYams are more like white potatoes. You have had those this week? I imagine you have only eaten sweet potatoes if they were sweet or if you have sweetened them. Have a great Thanksgiving.
