Monday night, I looked over at Tommy and he had a Kleenex folded and under his glasses on his right eye. He said he did not want to blink his eye because it was scratchy. When he got ready to sleep, he had a huge piece of packing tape and made a patch for his eye. I commented at first that it could be allergies. Then, I thought it might be pinkeye.
When he awoke Tuesday morning, I looked at his eye--a stye under the top eyelashes, nasty looking. So, he went to doctor at urgent care place and has eye ointment and oral antibiotics.
We had another destination which we barely made. Then, we sat at two pharmacies to get a refill for me and two prescriptions for him. After sitting with him in the waiting room of the doctor office, I just wanted to go home.
Finally, at 8 pm, I took a nap until 10 pm. I have been falling asleep easily at night and for a nap. Still, I cannot sleep for long!
Tommy had chicken, romaine, tomatoes, and carrots. I had eaten chicken about 5 pm, so I had a sourdough roll, carrots, and apple.
On Monday night, Tommy put all the plants close together and covered them with a sheet which we left on all day. Tuesday, we just left the sheet on since it is freezing tonight, and tomorrow night, I think. Some of the plants had gone white, and they are now greening up.
It was glorious to have daylight, just a bit, at 7 pm tonight. I love DST! Have I said that before?
He said he had styes when he was little, but not for decades now. I have never had a stye. Have you ever had a stye? Were you able to get rid of one without a prescription? How?
