Too Tired

I am too tired to type or think. It was a good day, just tiring. It's about 4 pm and I need to prepare four heads of celery for the freezer. I wish my dehydrator were here.  I will not need to buy celery all winter.

After preparing the celery, I have four Bell pepper to prepare for the freezer. Unless I go crazy eating Bell Peppers, I will not need to buy any this winter since I have several already stored. I use it for flavor in dishes. Tommy will eat it from the dish I make. I will eat it if it is chopped in tiny pieces and cooked.

We have been opening one jar of spaghetti sauce every two weeks. It lasts for two meals. After opening the last jar, I need to find more on sale. I have the pasta!

I must have slept wrong because my knee will barely hold me. I have things to do and cannot be so immobile! Mostly, I keep moving in extreme pain.

My a2milk is on sale at Publix--2 half gallons for $7, so I need to get that as it is a savings of $2 per gallon. Plus, Cokes are a good deal at Dollar General. See? I have things to do.

Since I got the air fryer, I have not felt like standing to wash it and cook in it. So, like it or not, hurt or not, tonight, I will wash it. My first thing to cook may be lamb chops and carrots for Tommy. I will have a can of tuna with lettuce and tomato. I hate lamb.

I heard that one tactic for the corona virus extermination is to shut down everything for four to six weeks. If that is what it takes, I am willing. What are your thoughts on this means of squashing the virus?

My Pink Purse and The First Time

Previously, I had looked on the internet to see the best way to clean a leather purse. It seemed lots of sites recommended cleaning with alcohol. In the meantime, I got ink on my pretty pink purse. I was devastated because one little ink mark leads to another.

Using alcohol was the number one suggestion to clean leather. I used a Qtip to clean the mark, just a little alcohol on a Qtip and a little wipe. Well, it took off the pink! I  am devastated.  It is now flawed!

Now, I am trying to figure out what to do for my light pink purse because I now have another black ink mark. Any ideas?

When I heard about the virus in Wuhan, I was on alert. From the beginning I knew it would affect us. Just a few days ago, I found the receipt for the first things I bought. The receipt is for February 3, 2020.

I was talking about it about a week before that. Just now, I asked Tommy what he thought of my concerns. He said he never remembers me talking about it. See? He never listens...lol.

What would you use to get ink off a purse that is not alcohol? When did you first buy something that was totally driven by the notion that a problem was brewing in Wuhan that would affect us?

Free Ice Cream Cone

On March 19, 2000, Dairy Queen will give away a free ice cream cone. I will chance the drive-up window. Oh poo! Canceled!

We did not go to church today. Tommy is very unhappy; I am relieved.  It was my idea. I wonder how many of the older people did not show up. All but three or four are over 60. We have heard nothing.

Yesterday, a Master Gardener came and helped me put together four boxes, fill with dirt, and plant my plants. All this was provided for free by an Auburn research grant. Tomorrow, I will give you details.

Last year, I could barely put my left foot on the floor to walk. It was so tender that the doctor ordered an MRI to see if I had broken a bone in my foot. I had not. My pain was caused by age-related arthritis. I have had touches of this in other places, like my thumb of my right hand.

The PhD nurse practitioner suggested a pill for the pain. Then, she came back in and told me she was giving it to me in a gel form. It seems to be working. Not sure. Th pain is not debilitating anymore. So, that is something.

I do not intend to go into a store or other place where there are others.  How about you?

Tommy died

I am distraught! He died at 12:15 am on 3-14.
