We were in a line at an Icee place where we saw a man in uniform from big electrician company we did not know. So, we called him over. He said "yes" they would come out for one thing. So, the one thing happened and it cost us $1300! As it turned out, there was lots wrong. The rest of the house will cost $24,000. Yes, it is shocking. Aluminum wire and fuses are still in this house from 50's.
I asked the guy who came here if we could pay him to retrieve the bed. He came here after work. His name is Pedros from Honduras. I could barely understand him, but we were face to face, so no problem.
He went with us to Andre's house who has yard sales all the time. The beds and mattresses were brand new. How does he do this all the time.
Andre told me it was all my fault because I did not answer the phone and messages full. I do not mind a person telling me once, but he told me about a dozen times. I am not exaggerating! The bed is here, so I am going to ignore his attitude.
Pedro moved things in the house to get the bed in the bedroom. He examined the skeleton's head to bring the correct screwdriver so I can put batteries in his skull. We paid him $50 for one hour of fairly light work. I feel like he needed more reimbursement.
He is studying to be a master electrician. So, I feel like he knows his craft. I just want the house safe.
The uti is back, so going to dr tomorrow.
Another elderly relative died on Monday. Sad. I am not even well enough to ride to funeral!
I have two huge pots. I set my huge mum into it on the ramp. I put another pot into the tall pot to elevate the flower. Not only is the mum wide, it is taller than any I have ever seen. Some stems tore off. I had Tommy stick a broomstick into another pot full of dirt, the water well. It is surviving and blooming. Yay for us and the mum.
Going to bed after a busy day. Anything exciting happen today? Thrifty? Failures?
I’m glad you were able to get the bed moved to your house.
