Marvelous idea. In my home prior to where I live now we heated exclusively with wood. We lived in the mountains and it was darn frigid if you didn't stay on top of it. A wood stove heats well but will not reach to distant rooms.

DeleteI suppose even when you finally get the place warm, you have to keep getting in wood for later. I can imagine the disparity in the heat in rooms far away. That is how it was in my house with a space heater.
