Taking paxlovid
Temp down to 97.5
Need walker because I am too dizzy to safely walk.
Sat up all night because I was coughing too much to lie down. Also, lots of sneezing. slept from 7 am to 10:30 am. No nap. I could only rest.
Still have sense of smell and taste. Mouth tastes and smells like a garbage can. Nasty.
Ate pimiento and cheese sandwich and drank more of 20 oz coke. I threw away at least 4 oz. Tommy thought ice cream would be good for me so bought some when he went to store by himself.
had baked chicken breast slice in a sandwich with MW. Romaine was gone. I almost cried. had half a banana and half an apple.
Feel miserable. Feels like someone punched me in the nose.lots of pain.
I really need to drink more water!
think tommy shoul wear mask and I shoudl too. He says no, too late.
Well, Damn it all!
ReplyDeleteYou and Tommy have done well to have avoided Covid these 3 long years.
I dodged that bullet up until last Sept when I went on a little cruise with my sister. I knew I was rolling the dice going on that trip and I am not sorry that I went. I was all "Vaxed up" and had a very mild experience. I wish you the same.
When we discovered that we had contracted Covid We hung out at my sister's for a couple of days. We watched movies and dozed and took it easy. Neither of us lost our ability to taste, smell or had a high fever.
On the 3rd day I drove the 400+ miles home. (about 8 1/2 hours) At home I took it easy and soon I was back to normal.
My last inoculation was in late September and I have plans to get a booster next week.
I am wishing you and my friend Tommy a quick complication free recovery. Fingers crossed that Tommy dodges the covid bullet.
I don't think I could drive a mile, let along, 400+miles. I suppose this is mild as the temp keeps going up and down, keeping 100 in sight. It seems the head congestion is the worst. I still feel like I was punched in the nose.
DeleteIs there a new booster out? I will take them religiously. I really hope he does not get sick, at least not while I am at my worst. I cannot drive like this. At least, we can figure out what to do sooner than I did for me.
Oh my gosh, I do hope you feel better soon. It has got to be exhausting to feel so unwell, even leaving aside the pain! And Tommy's probably right about it being too late to wear a mask at this point! Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteTreaders,
DeleteIt is exhausting. I am too weak to walk. I got to bathroom and he carries food to me and dishes away. I would be willing to wear a mask, but he says, no. I can barely breathe, so not sure how mask would work. Thanks.
Did you test positive for Covid? I must have missed that.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and get rest and drink fluids. Surprised you still have an appetite.
Yes, last post, I am not very hungry at all.
DeleteOh my, I am so sorry you are sick with Covid!
ReplyDeleteWater is great but any fluids are fine--diet soda, watered-down juice, hot or cold tea--whatever keeps you hydrated. Glad to hear you still can manage a bit of solid nourishment, too. Canned soup or broth might go down well...
Sending lots of healing vibes your way! You can fight this, Linda!
campbells chicken broth! too.
DeleteWow.. So sorry! I can understand this. I got Covid in July last year, and it was horrible. I will never forget what it felt like. Lots of fluids helped me.
ReplyDeletehalf gallon of water, at least each day, always drink that much. Thanks. This is horrible.
