What do you think of this greenhouse? When I did a search, this is what came up first, for less than $100. But, the weight cannot be correct. It looks too good to be true. I know it is cute. Tell me what you think, please. Is this real? Or, is it a scam?
Thanks, everyone. I posted a new link in the comments which still comes up at $97.61. Check that link. And, the one below.See the price.
It comes up around the $2000 range here, which seems more realistic
ReplyDeleteLook at new link in comments and see the price.
DeleteIt's a scam.
ReplyDeleteLook at new link below.
DeleteI think you either looked wrong or posted wrong link. It's just under$10,000 not under $100.
ReplyDeleteSAM,
DeleteI saw that, too. But it is still $97 in link I posted below.
Since other of similar models are thousands of dollars, I would guess that $100 is just for the plans. Or else it is a scam.
ReplyDeleteI would shy away.
Joe,
DeleteIt is weird.

ReplyDeleteCheck this above.
I saw it come up at under $10K, but here it is at under $100.
This has either scam or serious typo written all over it.
ReplyDeleteAnne,
DeleteI cannot lose money if it is $10K since my credit card won't bear that much. Tommy's will, but I don't use it. I won't do anything since it is too iffy.
I agree with commenter Joe, $100 is just for the plans to build it. A person couldn't even touch all of that glass/plastic and wood for $100. They should clarified more in their ad.
ReplyDeletesusie,
DeleteIt is not for plans. It is for the whole thing, but the materials ARE worth much more than the price. boo hoo
Sorry darlin, I believe this is a scam. This seems to be shady website, I cannot find any reviews about it anywhere & it just feels "off" to me for some reason. I googled the description & found many others for much more money, the exact image at Wayfair is selling for $11K. Also I noticed on the link you shared, it says you have to assemble it yourself - that might be the difference of cost but I cannot imagine you & Tommy assembling that even though it says you could in a weekend. I'd steer clear if I were you. It's adorable though!!
ReplyDeleteI searched last night and found nothing about this site and no reviews on it. That is why I was asking. I had no intention of assembling it or having Tommy do it. I was going to pay someone. The others were so much more.
Deleteit's a scam. It's been around a decade...and you lose your money, they never send anything, and then they start charging you every month for nothing. Real PAIN IN THE "donkey".
ReplyDeleteIt is a scam. I tried to keep my husband from ordering it but didn't listen. Ordered it in March. Got a confirmation email and that was it. Emails we sent afterwards go unanswered. Luckily he paid with PayPal and they are investigating. We hopefully will get our money back
ReplyDeleteThe URL is registered to an individual in Guangdong China, but the website says it is part of Heilongjiang Whole World Trading, only that company's business produces and sells construction machinery product: road surface recycling machines, manhole cover cutting machines, aerial work vehicles, and machinery parts. Yes, it's a scam... and it's one of those that will move to a different URL once enough people lose enough money. Once you put in your debit/credit card number --- you'll get all kinds of weird charges. Another internet trap...
ReplyDeletemeetsy,
DeleteTHANKS!
Scamarama! I have learned to Google ads like this and see if the sites are trustworthy. Most of the time they are not.
ReplyDeleteI was once dumb enough to order a pair of Skecher sneakers from a site that I didn't Google first. Of course I never got the sneakers. I used PayPal for the transaction, so I was able to get my money back about 2 months after I filed a fraud complaint. But the experience has made me very leery of "good deals" on the Internet...
Sue,
DeleteThat greenhouse was too good to be true!
I love it ! I too thought it too good to be true.
